Celebrating a Legend, Uniting a Community
Get ready to celebrate 50 years of Slick’s awesome service to the Seattle community! We’re making sure his incredible work continues for at least another 50 years through The Watts Foundation! Slick and his son Donald started The Watts Foundation to support underprivileged kids in Seattle.
Until now, they’ve been putting in their own time and money to make a difference. But now it’s time for us, the community that loves them dearly, to step up and help expand their impact and further mission – to shape well-rounded individuals who have the tools to succeed in life through academic support, sports opportunities, and community involvement.
THE GOAL is to raise $200,000 to support youth in underserved communities through academic support, mentorship and scholarship opportunities for athletic training, camps and out-of-school activities critical to their development.
